Pickering of Bath., Bound in blue-green straight-grained morocco with roll-tooled gilt border of formalised lotus plants. Within the outer border is a further band of blind-tooled decoration with lotus flower tools at each corner, in blind, and within this a single gilt-line rectangular frame with segmented corners. The spine is divided into five compartments betwen raised bands, the latter being wide and having gold tooling upon them. Title and place of printing in gilt., No. 196 in dealer's catalog., Title on spine: Moore's Lalla Rookh.
